Your Choice, Not Chance

Your Choice, Not Chance is a community based teen pregnancy prevention program which provides support groups and mentors for teenage girls who are at-risk for becoming teen parents. Participants are paired with a volunteer mentor. Mentors plan activities with their teens and talk about the issues and facts of teen pregnancy. Your Choice, Not Chance also provides the community with educational materials and a speakers bureau. This program was planned after a community meeting generated ideas for development and implementation for a teen pregnancy prevention project. The program collaborates with many agencies and community groups in Spokane.
