Youth Volunteer Corps

The Youth Volunteer Corps (YVC) is a committed group of youth who are interested in engaging in service projects throughout the school year and summer. Projects include volunteer work at the Capital Area Humane Society and celebration of National Youth Service Day at the Southside Settlement House. During the summer, youth volunteers participate in intensive projects that vary from three-day to two-week commitments. With the guidance of an adult leader, YVC members work in teams of diverse youth to make a difference in the quality of life in our community.
