Cincinnati Youth Collaborative, HOSTS program

HOSTS (Help One Student To Succeed) is a highly structured tutoring program designed to provide individualized instruction in reading and language arts in an elementary classroom setting. The program is designed for students needing extra help and encouragement. HOSTS tutors commit time to go to a specific school once each week. HOSTS supports the state-mandated commitment that all children are able to read by the fourth grade. Currently, eight Cincinnati Public Schools have HOSTS programs.
