Fund for the Arts

The Fund for the Arts is the oldest united arts fund in the country, allocating funds to 26 member groups and programs, including grants to more than 200 community organizations and schools across this region. This includes, grants and resources to neighborhood groups which offer cultural opportunities to minorities and under-served areas, as well as support for school arts programs and bus subsidies for schools to attend arts events. The Fund for the Arts administers the six-member Youth Arts Council, which was established in 1993 to serve as a facilitator and catalyst for youth arts programs and to provide exceptional performance opportunities for young people.
