15 and Up

Dinner for the family:
Now that your children are older you can have them do something fun and something that will be helping you out at the same time. Have your child plan out a meal for dinner one night a week, and have them make it. Given the leeway plan whatever they want for dinner and be able to make themselves will be exciting and a challenge for your child. Of course you will be there incase they need help. Hey and then you have one night a week where you can just kick up your feet and relax after a long day.
Movie Night:
Have nights where the whole family get together and watch a movie together. Pop some popcorn grab some comfy pillows and blankets and spend a couple hours together watching your favorite movies. Remember to let everyone have a turn picking the movie.
Weekend Trips:
Plan some fun day trips for you and your family. Find some historical landmarks close to your town and take a trip to learn something new together. This is a great way to spend time together. As your kids get older it gets harder and harder to find a time that everyone is free to spend time together. But having this time is very important to the development of your child as he or she becomes an adult. Having a day trip planned every now and then is a great way to spend time together.
